WHO WE ARE...
Take four musicians and a drummer ,who were bored with the "same old, same old" that all pub covers bands seemed to do ,add in a mixture of influences ,from Frank Zappa ,to Genesis ,to Billy Joel to Oasis (we won't tell you who that is!)mainly prog rock ,and something strangely pleasing comes out the other end.
Take a singer who loves prog rock old and new ,from Genesis to Spocks Beard ,a guitarist with the same sort of tastes but who isn't adverse to a bit of Van Halen .A drummer who funnily enough loves prog aswell ,but doesn't mind a bit of The Offspring or Billy Joel ,a keyboard player who loves everything Frank Zappa ever did.And last but not least a bass player who does what he's told(Only kidding SAV!)For more info check out the BIO's Page.
WHAT DO WE DO????
The FACTOR started out as a covers band and some of the old tunes still live on. Songs from the likes of Radiohead ,Santana and a stunning version of Eve Of The War from War Of The Worlds.There are new covers from The Who, Muse, U2, Genesis, and some we will just keep secret.
BUT ,where the OZ-FACTOR shine is with their original songs. Not content (or capable) to keep a song to 3 minutes as "they want". OZ-FACTOR originals take a the listener to somewhere not a lot of people have been ,often dark ,sometimes foreboding but always intreagingly enjoyably!!!!
